La Universidad de Verano de Adeje llena de música el casco durante una semana

Las actividades complementarias han incluido la presentación de libros, exposiciones de arte, pases de moda o muestras de gastronomía.

Diversos grupos musicales están actuando todas las tardes en el casco de Adeje dentro del marco de las actividades complementarias de la Universidad de Verano. La música de “El método Stanislavski”, “Fran Baraja & Parranda Blues Band” y “Quimbao la Nuit” ya se ha podido escuchar estos días pasados en la calle Grande del municipio adejero, aprovechando el buen tiempo y la concurrencia a las terrazas de la zona. El objetivo de esta iniciativa es dinamizar la economía de la zona. Hoy jueves actuará el grupo local “El Cardón” y mañana viernes el cierre estará a cargo de “Together” formado por el guitarra José Bencomo, el piano de Mariano Léon y la voz de la cantante adejera Ainhoa Aguilar.

Las actividades complementarias son ya una seña de la propia Universidad de Verano con las que se pretende ofrecer al alumnado, profesorado y residentes del municipio, una serie de eventos culturales que en esta edición han incluido presentaciones de libros, exposiciones de arte, pases de moda, radio en directo o muestras de gastronomía.

En este sentido, Julio Yanes Mesa presentó el pasado martes su libro “El periodismo grancanario en el sexenio democrático 1868 – 1874” de Ediciones Densura, y ayer miércoles, el escritor Carmelo Pittera su libro “Laboratorio de Emociones” un libro donde se desgrana el método PSICOM para el desarrollo cognitivo motor. Las personas aficionadas a la literatura y al aprendizaje tienen la oportunidad hoy jueves a las 20:00 h de que el conocido autor César Bona les firme su último libro “Las escuelas que cambian el mundo” tras escuchar la charla que impartirá horas antes (a las 18:00 h) en el Teatro del Centro Cultural. Mañana viernes, la Biblioteca Municipal acogerá la presentación del libro “Bajo la sombra del almendro” del autor Nicolás Reyes Rodríguez, editado por Mercurio. Casi todas las presentaciones de libros se han podido realizar gracias a la implicación y colaboración de la librería adejera Todo Hobbie La Clave.

Paralelamente a la realización de estas actividades, el Centro Cultural de Adeje está acogiendo desde el viernes pasado la exposición “Inspiración África” que nace, según sus propios autores y autoras explican “de la necesidad de dar a conocer aspectos relevantes de la cultura africana”. La exposición muestra obras pictóricas, escultóricas, montajes, fotografías, etc. de diferentes estilos y artistas de diversas procedencias, tanto canarios como africanos o de otras nacionalidades.

Dentro del marco de esta exposición, mañana viernes a las 11:00 h se ofrecerá un pase de moda bajo de la mano del diseñador senegalés Ibrahima Seck que mostrará en la pasarela su colección de ropa y complementos inspirados en su país natal. A continuación se ofrecerá una degustación gastronómica con productos africanos elaborados por el chef de la Asociación Bermella Christian Espinosa y por cocineros nativos. La jornada estará también amenizada por una muestra de baile senegalés.
