Homogeneizar los criterios de actuación policial en las intervenciones con drones en Canarias, así como dar a conocer las restricciones en el espacio aéreo, son los objetivos principales del curso, que correrá a cargo de Marcos Rosario Galindo, policía local de Arrecife, en Lanzarote, además de piloto profesional e instructor de drones.

El programa formativo, de 10 horas, abarcará aspectos relacionados con el marco normativo por el que se regula la utilización civil de aeronaves pilotadas por control remoto (drones), hasta los procedimientos para poder realizar operaciones aéreas, teniendo en cuenta el espacio aéreo, las exclusiones parciales, las autorizaciones, prohibiciones y otros aspectos estipulados en el Real Decreto 136/2017.

El docente hará hincapié en el enfoque preventivo como medio para la protección de la seguridad operacional en el espacio aéreo de Canarias. Durante las sesiones formativas, que se desarrollarán del 6 al 9 de septiembre, en horario de mañana, el alumnado conocerá el protocolo de actuación que rige estas operaciones, donde se analizarán diversos casos prácticos de intervenciones en espacios prohibidos, restringidos y con posibilidad de infracción administrativa o comisión de delito..

La Dirección General de Seguridad y Emergencias celebrará una nueva edición de este curso, el próximo 13 de septiembre, en Gran Canaria, donde formará a más de un centenar de policías de la Isla.
