Magnífico broche de oro final a la 43º Subida a Tamaimo

Javi Villa (categoría I), que pulverizó el récord, Jonathan Álvarez (categoría II) y José Antonio Aznar (categoría III) se proclaman vencedores en el municipio de Santiago del Teide.

Villa y Aznar ya son Campeones de España virtuales en sus respectivas categorías.

Gran actuación de los tinerfeños Javi y Javito Afonso (padre e hijo).

Una entrañable y brillante entrega de trofeos celebrada en la Plaza de Puerto Santiago puso el brillante broche final a una edición en la que se instauró un nuevo récord (2:43.805).

Magnífico broche de oro final a la 43º Subida a Tamaimo, sexta cita del Campeonato España Trofeo Sportech de Montaña 2017 que finalizó con los triunfos de los asturianos Javi Villa (BRC B49), en la categoría I y estableciendo un nuevo récord absoluto en la rampa chicharrera (2:43.805); Jonathan Álvarez (BRC B49), en la categoría II, y el almeriense José Antonio Aznar (Ginetta G55 GT3), en la categoría III. Con sus victorias tanto Villa como Aznar ya son campeones virtuales (matemáticamente) de sus respectivas categorías.

Como es habitual en el Campeonato de España de Montaña, el segundo y ultimo día de competición estuvo formado en la matinal dominical por la tercera manga de entrenamientos oficiales y la Carrera 3. En la categoría I Javi Villa, con la BRC B49 prestada por su amigo Fran Suárez, domino de principio a fin. Así y en la matinal dominical y con mucho más calor y temperaturas más altas que el primer día, Javi Vila se quedó a 1.051 segundos del citado 2:43.805, logrado en la carrera 1 (sábado). Con todo, el gran piloto asturiano logra así su  séptimo entorchado nacional. El gallego Manuel ‘Lolo’ Avilés (BRC B49), primero de la categoría júnior nacional, ocupó la segunda plaza a 4.523 de Villa en la suma de los dos mejores tiempos para establecer la clasificación de cada categoría, mientras el tinerfeño Guillermo Évora (BRC B49) subía al tercer cajón de podio tras finalizar a 15.658 del asturiano y en una genial progression.  El gomero Pedro Pérez (BRC 05 Evo), Sergio Febles con la preciosa y espectaculat Osella PA 20 y y Juan Antonio Socas (Speed Car GT1000) fueron, por este orden, los siguientes clasificados.

En la emocionante categoría II, Jonathan Álvarez (que todavía puede descontar un resultado a efectos clasificatorios del Nacional) dio un golpe sobre la mesa en la matinal dominical, adjudicándose  el triunfo por delante del joven piloto tinerfeño, Javito Afonso (Silver Car S2), que asombró al ser segundo a sólo 767 milésimas de Álvarez, siendo César Rodríguez (Silver Car S2), tercero a 2.580 del ganador y Garikoitz Flores (BRC B49), cuarto.

En la categoría 3, Aznar con el triunfo prácticamente asegurado,, se lanzó a por el record tras haberlo acariciado en la jornada del sábado; de hecho lo bajó en 393 milésimas en la manga de entrenamientos, pero en la carrera 3 y cuando llevaba un gran ritmo tuvo que parar al econtrarse al BMW M3 GTR E92 de Domenech atravesado debido a un salida de carretera sin consecuencias personales de Alberto, teniendo el almeriense al igual que resto de pilotos que le precedían que volver a línea de salida para volver a afrontar la citada y última  carrera 3 y en la que ya no pudo batir el récord. El tinerfeño Pedro Javier Afonso (Porsche 997 GT3 Cup R 2008) ocupaba una brillante y meritoria segunda posición a 6.169 segundos de Aznar y superando en 14.471 segundos al catalán Sergi Pañella, tercero con el Mitsubishi Evo X.

En cuanto a los Campeonatos de Tenerife (a efectos clasificatorios cada piloto retuvo el mejor crono de los dos mangas o carreras 1 y 2 del sábado), por lo que el día de hoy sirvió solo para proclamar a Pedro Javier, en  turismos y su hijo, Javito, en barquetas, como brillantes ganadores. En turismos y tras una sensacional lucha, el segundo cajón de podio fue para Ángel Bello, con Skoda Fabia Súper 2000 y a 8.430 del vencedor y tras aventajar en sólo 502 milésimas a Nauzet Brito (Porsche 996 GT3), tercero a 8.932 y que a su vez superó en sólo 668 milésimas a Félix Brito (Subaru Impreza WRC), cuarto.

En barquetas también hubo emoción, pues Javito superó en solo 109 milésimas a Guillermo Évora, segundo, mientras Pedro Pérez (BRC CM05 Evo) ocupó el tercer cajón de podio a 1.673 segundos.

Meritorio el quinto puesto del güimarero Armando ‘Mandi’ Díaz, quinto y primero del grupo TA con el BMW M3, así como el sexto de Víctor Manuel Padrón, sexto en su debú con el Seat  León Supercopa ex Jonathan García. Fenomenal Eduardo Álvarez, séptimo y segundo del grupo A con el EVO V.

Por su parte, Fran Suárez acabó octavo con el BRC R-15 (205 T16) y Yeray Pérez volvió a destacar al llevar al Opel Corsa B 16V al noveno puesto. El ‘top ten’ tinerfeño se cerró con el grancanario Anyelo Padrón, décimo y primero de grupo T con el BMW 323 I.

En barquetas también hubo emoción, pues Javito superó por poco más de un segundo a un cada vez más adaptado a la B49, Guillermo Évora, segundo, mientras Pedro Pérez ocupó el tercer cajón de podio.

Una vez finalizada la competición se realizó la entrega de trofeos en la Plaza de Puerto Santiago, emblemático lugar que acogió un entrañable y brillante acto en el que estuvieron, junto al alcalde del municipio anfitrión, Emilio Navarro y el teniente alcalde, Ibrahim Fortes, el presidente de la Real  Federación Española de Automovilismo, Manuel Aviñó, que estuvo acompañado de los presidentes de las Federaciones Canaria e Interisular de Automovilismo de Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Carlos Gaztañaga y Benito Rodríguez, respectivamente.

La prueba fue posible gracias a la organización de los hombres y mujeres de la escudería Barliamotorport que preside Fran Morales y el patrocinio principal del Ayuntamiento de Santiago del Teide, a través de su Concejalía de Deportes. La prestigiosa empresa del sector del automóvil Renault Motor Arisa aportó la caravana de seguridad. La principal apuesta de la organización fue por la máxima seguridad de todos y el total respeto al medio ambiente.
