Podemos Adeje: “Para el PSOE de Adeje las mujeres no existen”

“El PSOE Adeje se ríe de las mujeres y del feminismo haciendo caso omiso a los acuerdos alcanzados en pleno”, denuncian desde el Círculo Podemos Adeje.

Hace más de un año que se aprobó por unanimidad una moción para incluir en el callejero municipal nombres de mujeres ilustres de Canarias pero no han hecho nada.

El Círculo Podemos Adeje presentó una moción en el pleno del pasado 24 de febrero de 2017, a través del concejal Antonio Fuentes, proponiendo un cambio en el callejero del municipio tinerfeño. El objetivo de la moción era representar a las mujeres ilustres de Canarias, larga y amargamente olvidadas en la historia de nuestro municipio.

La moción fue aprobada por unanimidad. “Creímos que por fin el PSOE se alejaba del postureo y se encaminaba a ser un proyecto aliado en la lucha por la igualdad de la mujeres y contra la discriminación machista. Pero no resultó ser así”, argumentó María Ramos, responsable del Área de Feminismo del círculo.

La moción recogía, entre otras cosas, “poner en marcha las políticas necesarias para alcanzar la paridad en nuestro callejero” y que “a partir de este momento estudiar en el callejero la paridad en el nombramiento de las calles”.

Sorprendentemente, este mes el PSOE ha decidido cambiar los nombres de algunas calles y parques. “¿Cuál ha sido nuestra sorpresa? Que en esos cambios no aparece el nombre de ninguna mujer. Cuatro nuevos nombres, ninguno de mujer”, lanzó María Ramos.

“Así, el partido socialista demuestra una vez más que la igualdad es solo un caladero de votos para ellos, ignorando e incumpliendo lo aprobado por su propio grupo”, argumentó la responsable morada. “El feminismo es publicidad y no política para el PSOE de Adeje”, añadió Ramos.

“No solo no repara la injusticia que supone esta invisibilización de la mitad del mundo sino que la perpetúa. Una vez más, el PSOE de Adeje se olvida de las mujeres, se ríe de lo que se aprueba en el Ayuntamiento y, en vez de apoyar los justos reclamos de las mujeres, las continúa invisibilizando”, lanzó la portavoz de Podemos Adeje.

Desde el círculo morado denuncian el posicionamiento del PSOE de Adeje como aliado de la discriminación de género: “Así, difícilmente alcanzaremos la tan deseada paridad, equidad e igualdad en nuestro municipio”.
