CC de Adeje solicita al Gobierno local que ofrezca suelo para la construcción de viviendas de protección oficial

Torviscas Adeje.

El grupo municipal argumenta que ante el alto precio es necesario compensar el déficit de hogares con nuevas promociones, proyectos que el Gobierno de Canarias está dispuesto a desarrollar en colaboración con el Ayuntamiento.

 

El grupo municipal de Coalición Canaria en Adeje ha propuesto al Gobierno local que busque y ceda suelo para la construcción de Viviendas de Protección Oficial. La iniciativa responde al hecho del alto coste de los hogares para las economías de las familias y jóvenes en situación de vulnerabilidad, así como a que el Gobierno de Canarias se ha ofrecido a su edificación siempre que los Ayuntamientos aporten el suelo oportuno, obras que ya se están ejecutando en otros municipios de Canarias y que Adeje no puede quedarse al margen. 

 

La propuesta de CC parte de que el Gobierno municipal del PSOE se ha negado a la opción de que la Empresa Municipal de Servicios de Adeje (EMSA) (antigua Sociedad Municipal “Viviendas de Adeje”) construya promociones de VPO, como así hacía hace unos años. 

 

El portavoz de Coalición Canaria en Adeje, Óliver Tacoronte, considera que parte del incremento desorbitado del precio del alquiler en el municipio, se debe a la dejadez del Gobierno municipal socialista, “que no ha sabido ni ha querido priorizar este asunto y ha rechazado incluir en su plan de gobierno, alguna de las múltiples medidas que le hemos propuesto desde nuestro grupo “. Considera que “con la abrumadora capacidad económica de esta localidad turística, no se puede mirar hacia otro lado con la problemática de acceso a la vivienda, especialmente con la experiencia que ha tenido Adeje en la construcción de promociones de protección oficial”.

En esta línea, el grupo municipal de CC Adeje sigue insistiendo en buscar solución a este grave asunto que afecta a los/as adejeros/as, colaborando de forma activa en el proceso de participación ciudadana del futuro Plan de Vivienda 2019-2022 del Gobierno de Canarias y en su divulgación, que contendrá programas de ayuda al alquiler, servicios a familias en riesgo de desahucio, promoción de vivienda protegida, aumento del parque de viviendas en alquiler, programas de rehabilitación de edificios, seguridad y accesibilidad o eficiencia energética, entre otras muchas medidas beneficiosas para la ciudadanía.
