Agentes de radiopatrullas, UPR, Guías Caninos, UIP, Información, Extranjería y Medios Aéreos estarán desplegados en este dispositivo que se prolongará hasta el 5 de marzo en distintas provincias.

El objetivo es dotar de seguridad, tanto objetiva como subjetiva, a todos los ciudadanos que acuden a estas fiestas y evitar la comisión de delitos como venta de estupefacientes, tirones, sirlas, hurtos callejeros, sustracciones de vehículos, agresiones sexuales o actos de gamberrismo.

La Policía Nacional, desde sus perfiles en redes sociales, difundirá durante estos días una serie de consejos de seguridad bajo el hashtag #carnavalseguro.

Este fin de semana arrancan en toda España los dispositivos especiales diseñados para garantizar la seguridad durante las actividades programadas durante el periodo del Carnaval. Desde hoy, 24 de febrero, y hasta el próximo domingo 5 de marzo, la Policía Nacional reforzará la seguridad en las principales ciudades con agentes en radriopatrullas, UPR, Unidades de Intervención Policial (UIP), Caballería, Guías Caninos, la Unidad de Medios Aéreos y efectivos de las Brigadas de Policía Judicial, Información y Extranjería. Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Cádiz y Santa Cruz de Tenerife son las tres ciudades en las que esta fiesta tiene mayor tradición y en las que miles de ciudadanos y turistas participan en los numerosos actos programados como cabalgatas, desfiles, concursos, galas, tablaos o conciertos. Sólo en estas tres ciudades, estarán desplegados algo más de 2.500 efectivos de la Policía Nacional.

La Policía Nacional ha diseñado dispositivos operativos con el objetivo de dotar de seguridad, tanto objetiva como subjetiva, a todos los ciudadanos que acuden a estas fiestas y evitar la comisión de determinados delitos como venta de estupefacientes, tirones, sirlas, hurtos callejeros, sustracciones de vehículos, agresiones sexuales o actos de gamberrismo. Estos dispositivos pretenden garantizar el orden público y la seguridad ciudadana, evitando cualquier acto que pudiera atentar contra el normal desarrollo de los eventos programados.

 

Los carnavales de Cádiz, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria y Santa Cruz de Tenerife son fiestas que gozan de un alto atractivo turístico que provoca grandes concentraciones de público que pueden conllevar riesgos en la seguridad ciudadana. La Policía tiene previstos planes concretos para afrontar las distintas situaciones de emergencia, con el objeto de controlar las mismas y proporcionar una vuelta a la normalidad en el menor tiempo posible y con las mejores garantías. Además de una gran concentración de personas, estas fiestas pueden llevar añadido el consumo de alcohol o estupefacientes que podría ocasionar reacciones incontroladas.

  • Una fiesta de acceso público debe contar con servicio de seguridad, salidas de emergencia indicadas y cumplir normas de seguridad. Conoce cuáles son y cuál es el itinerario marcado en caso de emergencia
  • Ojo a la pirotecnia: no compres petardos, bengalas o cohetes en establecimientos no autorizados, úsalos en lugares abiertos y respetando las distancias de seguridad. Evita riesgos innecesarios
