Tenerife | Jornadas de iniciación al trabajo de fuerza y running para mujeres

El Cabildo, a través de área de Deportes, ha abierto el plazo de inscripción para las jornadas de iniciación al trabajo de fuerza y running para mujeres, una iniciativa que se enmarca en el programa Mujeres y Deporte de la estrategia Tenerife 2030. La actividad, que se desarrolla en colaboración con el Colegio Oficial de Licenciados de Educación Física de Canarias, es gratuita y está dirigida a mujeres mayores de 18 años.

Las II Jornadas de Iniciación al Trabajo de Fuerza para Mujeres se desarrollarán en formato charla-taller y en las mismas se tratarán contenidos relacionados con el trabajo de fuerza y la salud, prevención de enfermedades, menstruación, embarazo y menopausia, importancia del trabajo del suelo pélvico e hipopresivos y prevención de lesiones. La primera cita tendrá lugar el sábado 13 de abril en la Plaza Los Virgueritos (zona El Carmenaty), en La Orotava, mientras que el sábado 4 de mayo se desarrollará en el Parque La Vega, en La Laguna. La última actividad se celebrará el 25 de mayo en el Centro Deportivo La Jurada, en Granadilla.

Las jornadas se desarrollan de 10:00 a 13:00 horas y son gratuitas, aunque existe un límite de inscripción de 30 participantes por evento. Puede participar cualquier mujer mayor de 18 años y las madres que lo deseen podrán acudir con sus hijos, ya que la organización ofrece un servicio de monitorización para dinamización infantil. Por su parte, las III Jornadas de Running para mujeres se desarrollarán en formato charla-taller y en ellas se tratarán contenidos relacionados con los beneficios del running para las mujeres, prevención de lesiones más comunes, cómo afecta el running y el entrenamiento a la salud, trabajo de fuerza aplicado al running y técnica de carrera. En esta edición se establecerán dos grupos en base al nivel previo de conocimiento en esta práctica (nivel inicial o nivel avanzado). Las jornadas se desarrollarán el 27 de abril en el Estadio Antonio Domínguez (Arona), el 11 de mayo en el Parque Taoro (Puerto de la Cruz) y finalizarán el 15 de junio en el Centro de Atletismo de Tenerife (Santa Cruz de Tenerife).
