El talento canario sigue creciendo en todas sus facetas y muestra de ello es Adonay Santana, un joven músico natural de Telde, Gran Canaria, que ya desde pequeño componía y que se ha venido trazando una trayectoria digna de conocer.
Adonay Santana nació en Telde donde comenzó su andadura musical desde muy pequeño, mostrando destrezas para la composición, lo que lo ha hecho estar vinculado con la música desde que prácticamente tiene uso de razón. Sin embargo al ir creciendo, abandonó momentáneamente esa faceta para dedicarse a sus estudios de Trabajo Social, profesión que lo llevó a residir en Fuerteventura, donde retomó las clases de canto y guitarra en la escuela de Artes Integradas Maxocrearte donde aprendió, además de música, movimiento y puesta en escena.
Así pues comenzó su andadura musical cantando y tocando en diferentes sitios, un aprendizaje y crecimiento que lo prepararía para participar en la Ópera Aída y al año siguiente en La Traviata, ambas realizadas por la premiada Asociación Ópera Fuerteventura.
Paralelamente, Adonay seguía presentándose a diferentes festivales y concursos, quedando primer finalista en el concurso televisivo Vive tu Voz de Biosfera Televisión, en Lanzarote y finalista en el Festival Internacional Music Meets Tourism.
Toda esta trayectoria curtida de trabajo, esfuerzo y humildad le dio el bagaje para grabar su primer single de estudio «Tu Foto», que salió hace unos meses y cuenta ya con más de 1.700.000 reproducciones en Spotify, además de ocupar los primeros puestos en las listas de reproducción de Chile, Argentina, Venezuela y otros países de habla hispana.
De igual forma este primer single así ha estado y sigue presente en listas digitales de Los 40 Principales, Cadena Dial y Cadena 100, apareciendo en programas de televisión como Callejeros Viajeros y sin parar de sumar reproducciones en la actualidad.
Adonay Santana promete y pone la bandera canaria bien en alto allá donde suena y sigue trabajando en su crecimiento, al respecto nos cuenta que «Actualmente, estoy inmerso en la composición de letras y melodías de mi primer EP que verá la luz el presente año y que seguirá la línea de sonidos latinos, más centrado en el sonido orgánico y acústico.»
